Dallas Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.
On May 15, 2023, at about 9:00 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 7900 block of Great Trinity Forest Way. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found Camyron Gaines, 17, was shot and lying on the ground. Gaines was taken to a local hospital and died from his injuries. Further investigation by detectives determined Gaines was shot by 18-year-old Lorenzo Torres.
Torres was arrested and charged with Murder.
