The opportunity has allowed my family and me to continue fulfilling our purpose to give back to our country that has given us so much. I look forward to the opportunity to work with our amazing city staff to continue the preservation of American values Rockwall embodies.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Sedric to his new role on City Council,” said Rockwall Mayor Trace Johannesen. “His leadership and pragmatic thinking have been on display for us for many years, not just through the Planning & Zoning Commission, but through his selfless service to America in the U.S. Army. His addition will certainly level-up the team and I look forward to his contributions.” Mr. Thomas will start his term at the next meeting on June 5.
